Black & White Night Fundraiser

This past Saturday on May 9th, Adventures for the Cure hosted a "Black & White Night" fundraising event to raise money for two charitable children's causes:  both a local diabetes camp for kids and Kupenda for the Children.    The evening focused on black and white silent film shorts set to modern music, a bull roast, wine tasting, silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. Over 130 guests came out donned in black and white colors to support the event held at the beautiful Basignani Winery, located in northern Baltimore County. The event culminated in AFC raising about $6,700, which will be evenly distributed between the two causes! 

Furthermore, the event highlighted the new jewelry and handbags crafted by the Kupenda children, which was quite a success!  People bought $275 worth of jewelry, which is also available via our website:  http://shop.kupenda.org.  The evening was a great opportunity to highlight both the needs and abilities of Kupenda's remarkable children!
