First Baptist Church of Hampton Falls, NH raises money through VBS!

One of the many VBS classees that helped raise money for Kupenda!
The Hampton Fall First Baptist church in New Hampshire decided to make raising money for an access ramp for Rev Mangi’s new church their mission’s project. Andy made a couple of videos that were shown to the children and Sandy made a PowerPoint of the recent trip to Kenya. During mission’s classes the students experienced some of the difficulties that the Kupenda children have in learning about God. The children tried to teach a biblical truth without using their voices, tried to go up steps when they had no use of their legs, and trying to go up onto a ramp in a wheelchair. The students were told to do chores around the house in order to raise the money. One group of children put up a lemonade stand in front of the church for Kupenda. All the cups and lemonade were donated by Stop ‘n Shop. Altogether the VBS students raised about $1,200 for the ramp which is expected to cost less than a thousand dollars. The rest of the money will go for other ways for Rev Mangi’s church to help the children of Kupenda.
