Kupenda Documentary Screening Tour

Kupenda Documentary Tour Rescheduled for October and November 2020

This October and November, three of Kupenda’s Kenyan students and two staff are coming to the U.S. for Kupenda’s documentary screening tour!

About the Film

On the coast of Kenya, where people impacted by disability are often shunned and viewed as cursed, these three determined teenagers set out to challenge their community’s long-held stigma and climb Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

This 70-minute film was recently shown at both the Beloit Film Festival and the ReelAbilities Film Festival

On Saturday May 23, at 4pm, the film will also be hosted by the ReelAbilitiesToronto Film Festival.
RSVP here to access the link and a Q&A afterwards with the film director and Kupenda’s founder.
