“Kupenda introduced us to the Workshop / Training of Religious Leaders on Disability in the Bible. The first training was in November 2018 assisted by Mbonani Leonard, Director of [Kuhenza for the Children] Kupenda of Kenya…

The same Kupenda of Kenya introduced us to the Tim Tebow Foundation with its Festival of Night to Shine

Kupenda is also kind enough to share their multiple resources for working with churches in East Africa, of which we appreciate much and are ready to adapt the same. I hope we will emulate much from them.

I echo such training as valuable as it may focus at removing barriers and creating opportunities for disabled people … Disability ministry is not necessarily about creating a new ministry but ensuring that existing ministries are accessible and welcoming to people of all abilities.”

~ Josephine Bahkita from Erick Memorial Foundation for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Disabled (EMFERD) an NGO serving children with disabilities in Tanzania

Today we are celebrating the power of partnerships like this that help children with disabilities and their families receive life-saving support and loving inclusion in their communities.

Help us share this work, connections and resources by introducing us to new leaders and organizations!
